Methodology
Every listing is assessed against a published standard so the directory stays consistent, current, and usable.
The standard we assess against
We use the 2X Criteria — the global standard developed by 2X Global — as our reference point. An organisation demonstrates an intentional gender lens when it meets at least one of these thresholds:
- ≥51% women's ownership, or the business was founded by a woman
- ≥30% women in senior leadership roles or on the board
- Workforce or supply chain meets the 2X employment bar
- Product or service intentionally designed to benefit women
For funds: at least 30% of the portfolio must meet at least one of the above thresholds.

Listing criteria
Active in the Philippines or operating with an active Philippine mandate.
Verifiable through public sources such as a live website, LinkedIn, or third-party references.
Intentional about gender-smart criteria through leadership, workforce, product, programme design, or capital allocation.
How we classify organisations
Where an organisation spans more than one category, it is listed under its primary function. Some organisations may not fit neatly into one subtype, and those cases are handled on a best-effort basis.
How we verify & maintain
Verification process
Automated checks confirm submitted details and basic record consistency.
Desk review compares the listing with public sources and category criteria.
Direct outreach is used when public sources are inconclusive or clarification is needed.
Maintaining accuracy
Quarterly reviews for inactive or outdated listings
Corrections based on public sources or direct confirmation
Ongoing review of new submissions
